Default What are the 2010 Camaro's costing around the U.S.?

I was wondering what the 2010 Camaro's are costing around our great country...

The one RS we have in Burbank is $5K OVER the sticker!! $5K!!! They're asking $32K for that RS....with no sunroof.

So, i'm debating selling my '01 SS with 80k original miles that was in a Calendar and won Super Chevy this year, to finance the '10 I want.

So....give me some prices on '10, SS2's. Red, A6's and A4's. No sunroof, and 18" rims.

Thanks fellas!!

My Step dad preordered one locally for like 250 over invoice, and its a auto 2SS I think it was something like 32k or 36k. I forgot, he preordered months in advance, but was guaranteed (written) that dealer over price (only 250 extra). Not sure if you'll be able to get the same luck where you live, but the best thing to do is call around within driving range and ask what markup is and if it's a lot talk 'em down.

Your going to have the random jackasses that will pay 5k over just to be the cool guy that gets attention. Wait till the end of summer and you'll be seeing deals. Me being 28, single and so on, I'm going to wait till next summer. However, the first one I see on the lot i am definately going to have to go for a ride. Would be my fourth camaro.

Here in Oklahoma City, $10k over sticker for a V6. At my dad's dealership in Michigan, the four SS ones coming in are being sold at MSRP

Lynn Smith Chevrolet AKA CROOKS...Selling a 2SS 35995 MSRP with a 5000 Local Market Adjustment price bringing the total to 40995.... I wont be buying one from them. Im also waiting till next summer. GM IS SO WORRIED ABOUT SELLING CARS...Yeah Right....should be ashamed of their selves...if your a dealer selling above MSRP... F U !!!! Be lucky your dealership isnt one involved in the restructuring where they shut you down.

HAHA in a few more months these will be like the recent GTO's, they WILL be selling for close to invoice or under very soon. The economy is tanked and the dealer lots will be storage yards for the new Camaro. Sad but true.

They are robbing people, but you can find several dealers selling for MSRP or below. We sent out emails to 70 dealers in 4 states for quotes, and I got a handful of responses for MSRP or less. Of course, we did get a jackass that wanted to rip us off and make us bid on one. We sent him a pretty hilarious email.

Just go to Camaro5.com and look at the thread they have for MSRP or below dealers.

Seen one at the Delaware Fair Grounds, almost 39K for one with a 6 cylinder. I think you can buy a brand new stripped Corvette from Kerbeck for a tad more. I know which one I would choose. Shame I was considering one.

How about we get together and write our state representives and ask why after 6.5 billion in bailout money we cant seem to get a fair deal from a company we intend to save. Ive written General Motors with my disgust and I ask all of you to do the same, all we ask for is the standard fair market MSRP quoted from GM for a car we love and have DIED asking for, they answered......with a "Here you go and a BIG F U ".... Disgusted guys..really.

If someone here on LS1 Tech can give us information about who we can make a formal complaint to then please post. I made my complaint through there Feedback section on GMs website, im sure it will never get read..but hey, I got to try.

It isn't GM pricing them that high, blame the individual stealerships.

You guys do realize it's not GM that is marking them up right? Dealerships do it...plain and simple. I worked at one and it's always the jackass owner or sales manager that does it, not the salespeople either. Practice your negotiating skills and you will have nothing to worry about if you want one right now. If you want to wait then yes you will get one much cheaper.

I wonder what dealerships ACTUALLY pay for the cars... For example, I get "jobber" pricing from wholesale companies that want me to distribute their product... Say it is a set of rims, I would get a list like this:

MSRP $1000
Jobber (what they recommend I sell for) $700
Wholesale (my cost) $400

Now, if I told a customer, "Well, the company says it is worth $1000 max... I'm going to charge you $1500..." not only would I be a total *** for being greedy as hell with my profits (I paid $400, selling for $700 is fair, $1000 is as far as it should be pushed) but I'd go out of business quick. How do dealerships think they can thrive like this?

Ford dealerships did the same thing when the 05 Mustang came out....two years later they had rebates on them. I'm going to wait for a while before I buy one. I can't pay sticker or above for any car.......
