Considering the design and cost to manufacture LS7s, I don't expect to see one in the Camaro, but there could be a new mass produced 427, or beefed up LS2. Possibly a 396
. I still need to have more info on it (and more pics) to know for certain, but I went with the LS7 Camaro.

ok i have to go with the LS7 in the camaro but what other choice do you really have, need to do anouther one with chalenger vs the LS2 camaro which we are sure i s making it there has been nothing said about a camaro with a LS7 and personaly i dont think there will be as much as i hate to say it, mainly cuz of price it s not practical, they cant sell an SS with an LS7 for $30k they would loose money every time they would probably have to cost anywere from $45k - $50k, just speaking from reason. any one happen to know what the price for a crate LS7 is??? i really dont know.

I want an LS7 camaro. I would gladly pay 35-39 grand for that. I really would. And 2009 is the year I graduate law school, so that would be a good year to release such a car

Since we have production level Challengers and GT500 those are the only real choices. The Camaro is way too "concept". That roof line will never make production, the short windows will never make production, there is almost nothing to the decklid. I will reserve judgement on the Camaro untill we see a more production ready version. And see if they offer the LS7 in it at all. Right now my money is leaning toward a Challenger
.

Guys we are on ls1tech.com, not fordbitch.com or dodgedickhead.net. What happened to brand loyalty, when was the last time chevy built a camaro that was outdone by either competitor. Just remember which brand gave you all that ls1/lt1 you love so much

I'm pretty sure that even a child would tell you ANYTHING with an LS7, but.. Realistically an ls7 camaro is doubtful, and it'd be vvvveeerrrryyyy pricy. If I had the money I'd hit it, but...I cant say that I like the looks of the new car either....so...Challenger for me. (Plus I was in love with the old one
)
edit: and to those talking about "wholesale price" - keep in mind that price is not the cost of production. A company that makes its own parts can make them for relatively cheap.
