Default Daytona pics Bumblebee Camaro

Took with my cell phone so not that good quality, but its a driver for sure and sounds bad ***!!
The GM guy who drove it in told me that there are about 30 of them so far in different colors and options.

That's one of the mockups for the Transformers movie. It isn't the same as the concepts at the auto shows. Similar dimensions, but not exact - look at the headlights, brakes, etc. IIRC, it is built off of a GTO.

OH yeah..I know..I have seen a million pics of it posted from shows, and I am really leaning to a Challenger.

I wondered why he wouldnt let me look inside. And it was about exactly the same size as a gto. It did have a great sound, and from the specs, will have the ls2. The tires are streets, not drags like some of the other ones ive seen pics of. All in all, after seeing it in person, and knowing it has the ls2, I think ill keep my ceta trans am vert. To be honest, that car doesnt even stand out that much in person, and more people were looking at the c6's and Dale Jr truck.

Badass, I really can't wait to see the production car at next years auto show. It's beats the hell out of the challenger.

I am not sure I wanna jump on the wagon just yet. 400 horse ls2 isnt that great of a deal. why wait when you can just buy the gto its the same thing. It is like comparing the t/a and camaro, they look different but really are the same beast.

Production Camaro will not have the LS2.

Read here for accurate information:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/gen-5-racing-tech/612178-facts-about-2010-camaro-updated-10-17-2007-a.html

Also, if the Camaro is big and bulky, then the Challenger must be bigger than a tank since it's WAY bigger (and heavier) than the Camaro.

Comparing the GTO to the new Camaro is...well...retarded. The 4th gen T/A is an awesome looking car. The GTO looks like a Grand Am. I'd rather have a 400hp car that looks cool than a 400hp car that looks like a rental.

I dont think those pics are of a driver. There are no calipers and no brake pads visible on the front wheels.

I only heard it running, and I did not see it drive at all. I did ask a few of the gm tech people about the updated camaro sign that said the engine was a LS2 and they smiled and said "as of today it has the LS2".

It is a driver, but it's a skinned GTO - a movie prop, so complete realism is not needed. The brakes are hidden behind the covers - which were probably used to keep the wheels clean.

if this car comes with 21 and 22 inch wheels from the factory, this car will be a disaster. no one is going to want to pay $1200 for a set of tires, and that kind of rotating mass will add AT LEAST half a second to ET's over 17 inch wheels. as for the LS2, it's time for GM to move on to a different series of engines. the LSx series was and still is great, but it's time to move on. bring on 3V and 4V i say.

21 or 22's will be offered as an aftermarket option through the dealer. Stock it will come with 17f/18r or 18f/19r(more than likely) they just haven't decided on that yet. The car in the pic is just a movie car and thats it. No offense even though the photographer says he used his cam-phone to take the pics they look fake. Looks like someone learned how to play with photoshop. Like I said no offense, but I have done a decent amount of photo editing myself, although a cam-phone can take some really bad pics that give that effect.

i really don't like it when people act like they know what's going to be on a car. the car's release is nearly 2 years away. you have absolutely no idea what GM will do. you don't know what type of rear end it will have, you don't know what kind of engines they will offer, you don't know the weight, you don't know the design. for all we know, GM could radically change the whole design. after all, GM doesn't have a spotless record of being truthful to the public. all i can say is, it better weigh less than 3700 lbs, have 17-18 inch wheels stock, have a different rear end and PLEASE, no more LS2 or LS7 talk. those two motors don't belong in this car. it's time to move on.

i like the color scheme, but its definatly not a car that looks like it was driven to the platform and it looks alittle to "pretty" for my taste. the actual concept looks better. persenally i think gm has the right idea as far as design is concerned, but it definatly needs refinment. Who the hell would want the v8 optioned camaro and with 21/22" wheels anyway?
