Default Taking grill out?

I have seen a lot of camaos with the grill taken out of the car. Is it a big deal to remove and does it help at all with air flow to the motor?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Pulls out pretty easy, just feels like you are going to break something when you are doing it. Doesn't help with airflow at all. Just an apperance deal. Some people, myself included like the look better than the stock piece. Although I do plan on getting a grille eventually.

Just yank the thing out. You'll cringe when you do it though, you feel like you're going to break all kinds of **** but you won't. Just grab her and tug!

And it doesn't help airflow at all. You'll see why when you remove it. The car get's it's air from underneath.

Be very careful when just ripping it out. The middle slot on the bottom is hard to get out and your paint will stress/spiderweb/chip if you are not careful. Dont just go out there and chuck norris it off just take your time...10 min is a lot better than 0 sec and chipped paint.

No need to listen to him... they seriously POP out... if you cant lift 20 lbs which is what I am guessing the pounds of pull it requires to pull it out... then take 60 mins get under the nose, undo the valence, and break your arm and hand trying to get them out... JUST PULL IT!

I'm wanna pull my grill to see what it looks like with the grill off. I know the Camaros look better with it off. Not sure of the condition of paint under it. If I yank it off....can I put it back on if I dont like it?

I unbolted mine for the same reason. If you just pull it you are gonna break the three bolt/studs behind it.

well I followed the advice of some of you guys and just now tried yanking it off. It came off all except for the top two holes. They wont come out. The grille also ripped right there.

HOW CAN I GET THEM OUT?!?!

I yanked as hard as I could. Absolutely could not get them out. I just took some snips and cut around the last 3 clips. Hopefully I can get them out somehow.
