Cool reccomenndations for tunes.

well i have a 98 z28 and right now all it has on it is an slp lid. i'm going to be putting on lt's, exhaust, no cats, egr and air is going to be done away with, probably an ls6 intake until i can afford a fast, and its getting a tune. any opinions on who has the best mail order tune?

I like my PCMForless, they do quite well for bolt on tunes. When you put a cam in your gonna want HP tuners or a dyno tune.

pcmforless is who i was thinking about, thats who tuned my brothers 94, and i really like their core program for any other bolt ons i decide to do after my initial tune. thanks.

I would just buy HPtuners now learn how to use it. Then if you do future mods you have the basics down for tuning. How to make fuel tables and such. THen if you get good at it. You can charge others in your area to street tune there cars. Eventually it will pay for itself. My opinion. I did the mail order thing one time. Then bought Hptuners. The mail order tunes pull a lot of timing to have the tune really save and conservitive.

Did heads/cam/LTs/TDs and FAST 85/85 on my car... ran 12.66@115 untuned. Had a PCMForless tune, ran a 12.31@117 with no other changes. Brian really knows his stuff.

Steve from LSXtune tuned my car also. Great guy to deal with. Not sure how much he will charge to retune later. My car already had H/C/I when it was tuned.
