Thats's a tough one. The FRC is a good looking car, but the cobra looks mean too. Are you going to mod the vette if you get it or plan on modding the cobra anymore? If the answer is no then its just a matter of which car you like better. If you plan on more mods, then my bias opinion is get the corvette and take it straight to EPP and let them go to town on it.
Regardless, let me know the next time you go to 41. I want to recheck my rear end and put some new fluid in it and I'll be ready for the track.

tough call.
personally i would take the vette because a c5 frc is my dream car, well actually a c5z06
but then again, a cobra will probably hold its value better than the vette

terminators are nice, but vettes are fantastic.
low weight, lots of power, great handling. its in a higher class of performance.. rear mounted transaxle for better weight distribution, flat underbody, etc.. stuff you don't get in your average muscle car.
then add the juice...
i think its a good trade if the vette really is in better condition than the cobra.
check out this link for some things to look out for in considering that particular c5

I have decided to keep the cobra for now. I am going to put a kenne bell or whipple on it and go from there.
I just purchased a Teksid bare block the other day to do a 331 in the Cobra. But, I may hold off on that project and just put a twin screw on it for now see if I like that power.
Thanks for everyone insight.

I have a 00 FRC that I love to death and get complimented on all the time but i would keep the Cobra. Cobra's seem to hold their value pretty good while the LS1 and even LS2 Corvettes seem to depreciate quick. Its a tough call.. Me personally Id trade but thats me. My advice is keep the Cobra!

Why is an FRC far behind the Cobra in your mind but the Z06 is so much better? I could see if it was a C6 Z06 but the C5 Z06 isn't all that much different from the FRC.
The Z51 suspension in the FRC isn't much worse than the Z06 suspension, most people don't have the driving skill to even need the full capabilities of the Z51 anyways so the Z06 suspension is just overkill for most people. Also, the extra power that you gain the LS6 has is negated with full bolt-ons on the FRC...and the one the OP is looking at is cammed with a FAST so it has more power than a bolt-on LS6. I just don't see why the Z is so much better in your (and many other people's mind).

I love both frc's/z and cobras, but I happend to come across my z for a good price and i loved the color so i bought it. I love the frc/z body styling, people tend comment em on there look more than a regular c5 aswell.
The ls1 would be cheaper to take further in mods than the cobra, vettes irs holds up a lil better than the cobras from what ive seen. Id say go with the frc for the handling, price, wow factor, quility, and comfort. Thats my opinion. But its what ever floats your bout.

I'm a big fan of both cars and would say keep the Cobra if that particular 'Vette didn't sound so tempting. It's like going from a straight line muscle car to an all around super car.
You know your own car and the work that's been done. I'd want dyno numbers and every bit of information the fellow with that Vette could provide. It's already got some damn good parts thrown at it. I'm with whoever says keep the spray and trade. If it were just a stock C5, I'd say **** that.
It's older, but has half the miles. Do it, man.

keep the cobra. cant beat a cobra's bang for the buck. sure the interior is not the greatest ever but. cant really beat 5k for 600rwhp. plus that FRC as nice of condition as it is in, is an older car.
