Default 2010 Camaro SS on the dyno at New Era!

A customer stopped by today with a new Camaro SS. It looked awesome. We strapped it down on the on the dyno at about 3:00 and made a baseline pull with it. It made 366rwhp and 372rwtq.

Here are some pics (more are coming shortly!!!)

I was expecting alot more from that car stock. Is that the stage 2 SS. It looks like my dads, but his is black.

Correct me if I am wrong but the paper work said 426 horse and 440 FTlbs torque at the crank.

Yes, it probibly did say it makes 426 horse and 440 torque at the crank, but a dyno measures power to the wheels.

It was a stage 2 SS also. Sorry about leaving that out.

426*.15=63.9

426-63.9=362.1

366>362.1....

at a 15% drivetrain loss it actually made MORE than what it should have... how could you expect a LOT more?

using the same math for torque it *should* make 374, but this car made 2 ft-lbs less. After some break in miles i would bet it would make better numbers than that.

Can't say I like the wheels, but I also can't say I could afford one (of the wheels, let alone the car). Am I the only one that finds the engine compartment to be more sexy WITHOUT the big cover thing? Sweeeet ride none the less. I look forward to seeing them cruising around in the near future.

Same here. I think they look much better with them off. Mike @ New Era did that to his G8 GT also.

That engine cover is ugly and cheap looking. Can't wait to see what minor mods do, the airbox setup looks like ****.

Very nice car and nice numbers.

Can't wait to see owners cleaning up those engine bays with aftermarket intakes and non-emissions LT headers

Looks awesome but sounds like an electric car on the dyno Time for headers and a cat-back!
