i dont have facts however the total 1402 was 3.3% of all camaros made in 99 42k, IF that % carries over to convertibles (4100)there were only aprox 135 orange verts. a person on this board gave me a large # of HO SS verts (like 70) but i havent been able to verify that #. which i thought was too high.

I saw it at a doctor's office across form the hospital in Athens, clean car but I wasn't digging the wheels. I think a girl drives it. At the apartments behind Krystal in Athens, there is a hugger car with white interior. My friend has left a couple notes with his number under the wiper, wanting to buy it, no one has ever called, if it was mine I'd hang on to it too.

a fellow car club member here in minny drove all the way to florida to buy a Z28 hardtop HO car maybe a year and a half ago. when i first got my car 6 yrs ago i was told a drag racer (mn F body club) had a HO vert and someone smashed it / totalled it. 
is there a data base for totalled cars?

Go check out the Special Edition section of this forum. There's a guy in there thinking about selling his 6spd HARDTOP HOSS with 12,000 miles. Probably won't be cheap but when will you have an opportunity to buy one of those like that again?

in short his 1LE car is one of 5 HOSS 1LE cars and there is one 1LE HOSS automatic which i know the user is on tech i just dont know of S/N. Unless he has to sell the HOSS because of money problems he should keep it.... or sell it to me
