Anyone pull a wheel(s) without Nitrous?
Just wondering if anyone has pulled one or both wheels on an N/A setup and what that setup is.
Try to list the amount of power you're making and what suspension work you have done to allow you to do it.
Thanks.

Nope, it's not possible without nitrous... The nitrous has a cooling effect on the front of the car and the coolness makes the front end less dense and so it just goes up. Good luck.

Heh, that's exactly what I was thinking.
I know it seems like a newbie question, but every car I see pulling the wheels has nitrous. I was just wondering if that was coincidence or if it just makes it easier.

ive gotten the driver side up on the trans am with bolt ons, stock rear, 6k clutch dump on slicks. both should come up after the kmember and a arms, 12 bolt and 4.11 gears. my slow car looks like it mightve picked up the driver side a lil, but its hard to be certain. that has less done than the trans am

the nitrous makes the air more dense cold is always more dense than hot and well nitrous is cold, with the right suspension setup you can pull the wheels without gobbs of power

It really has nothing to do with power level to an extent, as already mentioned in the thread there are guys doin it at near stock power levels with bolt ons. Its mostly in the suspension and tires. Another big thing is weight distribution. If you can take weight away from the front (battery, bumper support, etc) then it will be easier to lift the tires

you guys are high. the reason nitrous helps pull the wheels is because its lighter than air when it turns into gas form. when you spray nitrous into the motor, the motor tries to float up into the air which pulls the front end off the ground.
