Getting a ls6.. Will I notice a power difference ?
I blew my ls1 and I just ordered a ls6.. I know it has more hp than my stock ls1 but is it enough to where I will notice a good amount of power difference or will it be about the same?

I did have 120k on the ls1 but I doubt it was lacking power I was a 13.3 bone stock just a lid.. I would hope the ls6 would perform like a full bolt on ls1 at least it seems like it could be similar hp wise !

I have some basic bolt ons as you seen in my sig. I made 335 RWHP which is I loose 15% through the drive train that means approximately 385.25 at the crank. So ya thats about 50HP with bolt ons

50hp is signifigant. Personally what I would do is pop a cam and springs in it before it goes in the car... Then sell the LS6cam and springs as brand new.... I wouldn't have to think twice about this Even if I had to do the boltons later....
It is too easy not to take advantage of with the motor out of the car IMO.....

i drove an ls6 m6 car, then drove mine. the ls6 car definitely has some good pull up top.
you'll feel it, but it won't be like a massive force pushing you further back in your seat.

I had a Crate LS6 from GM installed in my car brand spanking new....
let me tell you, you will notice the REAL difference in power at speeds over 100+mph (im not saying you should be driving around going over 100 on the streets BTW)
With just a full exhaust, on a bone stock LS1 factory tune with the LS6, I put down 351rwhp, 355rwtq...
Now I added a MS3 cam and put down 412rwhp...bone stock heads. Car is a freak up top. 4.10's woke it really up tho.
