Default Has a testament to how reliable the ls1's are.

My car has just a tick over 150,000 miles on the odometer and day in and day out the car starts and runs like a champ, All thought I do have some problems the car hasn't given up the ghost yet all my friends know how I drive my car and it's not very lightly I can be very aggresive. I think that GM did their homework when it came to our lil ol ls1 I love my car thats why I refuse to buy anything else really.

I'm looking forward to getting alot more life out of my car so I love to hear these stories. I'm happy with my LS1 even though I got it late in its life at 120k..I plan to put another 120k on it if I'm lucky..

As long as you maintain ANY car, it will last. Except Fieros, those will catch fire no matter what.

I'm gonna ruin your joke by pointing out it was only the 84's with a 2.5 I4 iron duke.
