I have got a 67 camaro droping in a 02 camaro set up. It is a complete pull out. I want some thing that is quick but able to drive acouple hundred miles with no problems. The car had a big block in it for years always had a cooling problem with it in the summer no matter what I tried it did not fix the problem . So I decided to put in an ls1 for the best of both worlds. Right now my plans are to (buying parts tomorrow) put on a pp typhoon intake, thunder racing tr224 cam (224/224 5.63/5.63 112 ls) comp 918 valve springs, tr 7.4 push rods, shorty headers, 125 shot of nos. to put the car back on the road tired of looking at it in the garage on dollies. In the end i will put a super charger on it. We have got a 02 zo6 with the biggest vortec s/c I've ever seen in our body shop right now and it is very impressive. Driving the vette has motivated me to get it back on the road.

do some research you don't need a lot to change temperature of air!!! you know the reason for the coolant running through the throttle body? is to heat up the air for fast start up in extremely cold conditions only problem is ounce the engine reaches operating temperature the coolant keeps pumping through up to 225 degrees warming the air to reduce horsepower proven fact!! now imagine a aluminum intake ruining almost at the same temp of the engine
