Default starting to build

Hi all, I am looking for some input on what I should purchase for my next mods. I have a 98 trans am with every bolt on except headers, wet kit, drag radials on the rear, lca's, phb, and stb for suspension. It is my daily driver but I would like the car to be more fun on the road/strip. I will have around 1,500 maybe more to spend on my next mods. I want a dyno tune at the end of this mod spree so that will cost about 600. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have been reading up on those and I am leaning towards one. Will a 4000 stall be too much for a DD? I already have a B and M trans cooler installed too.

Definitly stall. A 3600-4000 stall is very streetable and will be a monster at the track. I would also get some headers before you get the dyno tune. I picked up headers off of ebay for about $200 and they work great.

Stall: $750
Tranny Cooler: $50
Fluids, etc: $50
Headers: $250
Y-pipe: $150
Dyno Tune: $600

Thats $1850 but you will love it!

Yanks ss series are good with a small shot. Or you could call circle d and have them build you one based on your mods

I am looking at a 4k Fuddle stall, will this work well? I also have 2.73 gears and I run a 305/16 M and H racemaster drag radial at the track (if that matters)

I think you need to consider your gears, look at the 3.42 you gonna love it, before you purchase the stall, do a search on youtube, and watch how the car is act after installing a high stall TC, a good stall with 3.42 gear would be good combination.

Would a cam and headers be a better way to go?
