had to say bye to my 02 formula today So today i had to say bye temporarily to my 02 formula cuz i dropped her off at the port here in hawaii to ship back home and she's just going to sit in my uncle's backyard until FEB of next year....I had a tear in my eyes as i had to turn around and leave my car at the port...call me crazy but i love my baby lol

WOW six f'ing months that really sucks sorry to hear its never good for cars to sit for that long without running and god knows what those guys might do to it and by the time you get it back you will never be able to prove it i would have sold it and bought a new one once you got back home

LOL, thought you were going to say "and it fell off the ferry when a big tidal wave crashed over it"...it could be worse man, I'm sure your uncle will keep it clean and safe...I leave my cars at my uncles place whenever I have to travel anywhere...he can't beat on them any harder than I do, and it's safer than leaving them in my driveway with nobody there to see if they get stolen.

yeah im not to worried about him taking off in it i wired a gps to the car lol plus why sell it i bought it here in hawaii its a 02 firebird formula and it only had 38000 miles on it i got it for $8,000..it was a steal plus a formula here in hawaii is very rare....ill try to post pics up asap

i feel your pain man, i motor swapped mine and for the month that it was in progress i was miserable lol, but now with a nasty 6.0 its even more fun than before, just think how good its gonna be in Feb. when you get to get in and drive it again.

I have to store mine tomorrow too.. Had my last drive with her tonight. I'm having shoulder surgery in 5 hours, and having a 6 speed really blows right now. Shes tucked away under a cover in the garage until march next year.
