Thumbs down Arghh! Winter already? This sucks.

My car has been in storage for about a month. There's about 4 months left until I can drive it again and I'm already starting to feel the pain.

Anyone else in this situation, and living in the winter hell hole that is the midwest?

This weather is awesome. 24 inches of snow since sunday.... Another 12 inches of snow tonight, and another storm coming this weekend!!!

I decided to celebrate by giving my Camaro a mohawk with the help of my dog.

Snowy stuff doesn't show up around here for another few weeks, but mine is already sitting cozy in the shop.

Damn man nice Doo.

BTW- how do you like the mxz 800, what year is that?

I was looking at a few 2003 AC F7's around here, need something to keep me occupied during winter months.

That's a tarp over it right?

I'm assuming you keep it covered outdoors all winter then correct? Do you ever notice and corrosion on the under body or rust anywhere or anything when you bring it out ?

No, its an outdoor car cover.

The cover allows the car to "breathe" and not trap in the moisture. Its on pavement too, so its fine. It wont rust..

Its a car. I DD it in the summer rain or shine. Its no garage queen, but its spotless and I take very good care of it.

Maybe you should consider selling your car for a Cobra. That should keep you busy for the winter.

It's tough to keep an outdoor car in really nice shape. UV exposure and the elements take their toll over time, though it's not as bad with modern cars that tend not to rust as easily.

How do you feel about arctic cat vs. ski doo.? I'm not really biased but am really wanting to get in to the sport. As something to pass the time in winter

Ahh, I see. That's what I have too.

I feel the same way as well.. screw the garage queen stuff. Just keep it as nice as possible and drive the thing! A true street car.

yeah snow sucks. my car(s) are in the garage for the winter but the one on the right is probably going to become my DD within the next week or 2 when i sell the malibu. it's weird taking over your parents cars thats for sure. unlike the t/a which was a hawaii/florida car, the stang came from central illinois so it's been driven in winter many times before i'm sure. I'm taking an extended trip to NC/SC and maybe FL in the mustang in january so it's not like it's going to be driven constantly through the snow especially since i probably won't be staying in indiana long term.

I have a different solution; one garage queen LS1, one daily driver LS1.

Nice sled. I have a '98 Formula Z 583 and a '98 Yami Vmax 600 SX. Was going to pick up a couple parts for the Vmax over the summer but never got around to it. Next year I will definitely be adding some new reeds and a clutch kit. Nothing too fancy, but it's fun and gets me out on the trails. Hopefully I'll be riding here in another couple weeks.

I rode my friends MXZ 800, they are pretty strong sleds & ride good. I rode his F7 & loved it so thats what I bought. Its an 03, its got an 800 F8 kit & Boondocker, & a few other things. A few pics.

That orange 1000 crossfire is another sled I highly recommend.
