Default What would you guys do?

If I decide not to sell @ 115k miles what would you do? (stroker, heads/cam, etc). I have a good idea I would just like to hear some opinions?

Why do you want to sell? Looking to change platforms?

I would look into things that would ensure the car won't have some age-related issues anytime soon. I'd be very hesitant to mod it really, to be honest.

Why the hell would you be hesitant? 115k isn't even broken in yet! IDK man I wouldn't sell unless I had another car lined up but if i had the cash to mod it. I'd do all the bolt ons

Yea im aware 115k isnt a lot on an LS1, especially seeing my motor was reassembled w/ checked parts and new gaskets, etc. just 5k ago. Ive basically done everything but heads/cam...thing is I just bought a house, I dont have the extra money i use to and am getting a little bored w/ the car the way it is...on the other hand I think ill have a lot of regret selling the car when the weather starts to get good.

+1 on picking up a GTO! Of course I'm a bit prejudiced.

Termi's cost more, and in the long run cost as much to mod as a GTO. And there interiors suck, car squeeks and rattles, crappy suspension/handling, and a myriad other issues that GTO's just plain dont have.

Before you guys start argueing: 2005/6 GTO's go for $15-$20k (price is actually going up over the last 2 years), Termi's that I've seen go for $20-$25k (and almost all have been beat on there whole lives). Heads/cam/headers for a GTO= full boltons/pulley for a Termi, with the Termi stuff costing grand or so less than the GTO. After that, the GTO is cheaper to keep modding until you reach the limits of the stock pistons/rods (700-750 crank hp on average).
