ok so does this sound like a good plan? i have a 2002 camaro ss, so with my tax return iam gunna get. s60 rear with these options true trac, 35 spline, 1/2 in. studs, used backing plates, 3.73 gears, strange 3 in. chromoly drive shaft. a Jake Shoe lvl 2 4l80e with t-brake fmvb, racetronix single fuel pump and hotwire kit. bmr trans relocation cross member..
let me know what ya think motor is mostly stock except no cats already have hptuners but havent gotten a wide band yet and now i have to save for some weld rims and tires gunna go with the s71 rims front and back...

Damn, how do I get that kind of tax return money. I think thats the ideal setup you have planned making sure the rear and tranny can handle high power levels before you start breaking things. Plus you could sell the 4l60e and 10-bolt if they still work fine to help fund the new rims and tires.

up date i received my 4l80e trans today but they didn't have my converter ready. not sure exactly when i will have it, they said when its ready it will ship i will have my bmr relocation crossmember here tomorrow and my s60 is gunna be here Monday and i also picked up a bmr torque arm i have to install the trans and rear and measure for exact length before strange will ship my driveshaft but i will have just about everything i need for swap and if the guy buys the grand national rear i have for sale this weekend i should have my rims so ill just need the tires and then i can move on to hooking up the n2o and exhaust and then just save for the procharger then build the motor so depending when i get my converter from jake id say ill have it up and running in about 1 weekend once i get converter then ill be breaking both in and then heading to track to test out trans brake that should be fun never had one before and still not sure if im gunna stick with the stock shifter or just get a new one with a 4l80 bracket kinda like the stock stealth look.. ill keep you all posted with pics from install and as i get the items

i claimed a dependant for the whole year that helped alot so i figured with a good chunk better to replace the 2 weak links while i can do both same time since motor is running great.. cant wait to get the stall and do the swap and get stickies and be able to run it without worry down the track ill post more while doing swap..

i got almost $2000 back and i dont have kids or my own house. i have my job take away an extra $35 out of my pay check. that helps around tax time. i paid off the camaro, got a Circle D 3800 stall on the way and weld RT-S rims for the rear.
anyways, sounds like a great setup on the car
