Default Trans am to camaro... very happy, check out pics

I could not handle to f-bird anymore

every where I went, everyone told me it sounded like a redneck mobile, and I might as well grow a mullet and buy a trailer home

soo......

I got with "the program" and bought a 2010 SS with 7K miles, steal of a price, blacked out wheels, badges, tail lights, turn signal lights....

I love the new SS, I am sorry I ever hated before

and its a 6 speed to boot

Overall, if you guys are flirting with getting rid of the old f body for a new 5th gen....

do it....

Nice new ride, man.

Personally, I'd much rather have my Firebird(s) than any Camaro out there, but I'm glad you're happy with your decision.

....+2

Not really into the 5th gens. ...Plus no way in he'll am I giving up my T-Tops for a ***** sun-roof/moon-roof! The 5ths seem a bit too tall for my taste also.

...just my .02

All that matters is that YOUR happy with it. Congrats on the new buy. Now go forth, and destroy an import!

I sure am glad that I've never felt the need to buy or sell any car because of what other people said to me.

Glad you're happy with the new car, but be ready for negative comments to start again when the 5th gen is about 8-10 years old too.

Good buy, nice car! I just got my ABM LS3 5th gen a few months ago and could not be happier! I did a resonator delete and added 1 chamber flows in the garage and now its hole new car Some people hate but the 5th gen blows away my 4th gens! Get some pipes and headers on that bad boy!

My recommendation to those considering a 5th gen: buy it!...but I never said anything about selling the 4th gen...Having the pleasure of owning both, I can say that each is awesome in its own way.

I hope this doesn't turn into something similar to the other 4th vs 5th gen thread, but why would you let other folks' opinion dictate your own taste/style?

That said, nice car! If you're happier with the 5th gen for personal reasons too, that's cool.
Oh, and "The Program" doesn't exist in my world!

looks good but I personally think your WS6 looked better and you could of made it faster by putting your money in it but the fit and finish of the 5th gen is better by almost everyway imaginable. Glad your happier with it than your T/A but i'll be damned if I let someone's words effect me in any way.
