Default Gmmg exhaust question

I bought a T/A a few days ago, and it has gmmg exhaust installed with kooks LT's...is this a good performing catback or is it just expensive?

It flows great=good but it is expensive. Sounds good too. Its 304 stainless so its good quality.

It flows just as good as the $375 dollar cat backs (magnaflow, hooker, loudmouth). Sounds decent but not as good as duals.

Unless your doing a heads/cam swap I would keep the gmmg.

pretty much all the catbacks besides flowmaster are good and flow the same. Ive seen plenty of dyno results that show a good catback will flow just as well if not better then a set of duals. The main reason why people go duels is for the sound and tone, not power.

If you decide to get true duals I would keep the GMMG because you will ultimately go back to it. It is an opinion as to what sounds better but the GMMG is unique and very high quality. I think putting your mod money elsewhere first would be a better option.

Note: I love my GMMG and will never change it because I do not want to degrade from here....

I honestly prefer the sound of my Borlamouth to the sound of my brothers GMMG. His gets raspy and he even has a cat in the I-pipe. My borlamouth is also much deeper. Everyone likes different things though. I wouldn't change my borlamouth for GMMG...

As for the OP, I would just keep the GMMG unless you plan on doing full stainless duals out the rear.

I love my Gmmg, pimping it yuppp.
Only exhaust I would consider getting rid of it for is the new Kooks duals. Both sexy sounds.
To each their own in the sound department. Like it was said before, put money on other mods, keep the exhaust for now. Thats one less thing you have to buy.

I don't have mine on yet, but the construction is very high quality, and I've never heard a bad sound clip!

Love it, I plan to turbo soon, hope to make about 500rwhp. So what do you guys think about running a electric cutout and keeping the GMMG.
