Default BRAND-NEW FIREHAWK hood on eBay!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-F...Q5fAccessories

That's a LOT of $$$....It would be awesome if somebody (or lots of somebodies) could buy this and 6LE could make a replica of it (to go along with the possible IROC spoiler replica in the works).

I think he's a little nuts asking almost $2000 for it.

Would anyone else pool money together to buy this if replicas could be made? The more people, the lower the individual cost.

X2 on that. I say 1100 Shipped is a good price.

Now If we could get someone to make a copy of this I would be down to help.

I like knowing that if something happens to my car I can get another hood. (the Raptor hood with vents is my next pic if I could not find a firehawk hood)

I'd be willing to chip in!
Like many other Hawk owners would love to have the option of ordering an actual firehawk hood in the event that something happens to my hood.

With that said, I wouldn't feel right having the seller receive that kind of $$ for a repaired hood; although if push comes to shove it might be the only available option.

If another hood becomes available I'd be willing to chip in.

The seller is an auto recylcer and has a lot of Fbody parts. He knows its a buyers market and can rape someone on the price.

If 6LE is trying to make replica hoods, maybe he can take a mold of the Superhawk and sell that. would seem there is a larger market for that then for any other hood.

If you are interested get a hold of me i have a hood for the mold.

We ran into something like that with the iroc spoiler though, the hood will likely be destroyed in the molding process... but if you're serious about that... you will the greatest person ever lol, I'm rocking a POS ebay superhawk ATM..... and EITHER of these options sounds good to me!

Eventually companies will start making 3rd and 4th gen reproduction parts.

Hoods, TA Tail lights, SS Spoilers, etc that are perfect clones will be the norm. Its too bad we have to settle for the BS thats in the market right now.

Either you get OEM, 6LE, or a few other brands or your SOL.
