Default Whining at ls1 intake.

I have a question about a whine. When I get the car warmed up and park it if I get back and start it up a few mins. Later there is a whining sound coming from the intake. After about a minute something clicks and the sound dissappears. It does not make the sound when cold starting. Any help is appreciated. Thx

Sounds like the air pump or EGR valve, either way unless your intake gasket is messed up or its cracked, it shouldn't make any noise. And if it did it would be there all the time.

When you hear the noise, pull the relay for the air pump. its in one of the electrical boxes behind the drivers side head light.

It's your AIR pump. Mine does the same thing sometimes. Then it sounds like a click and a BOV pops and it's gone.
