Hey guys I have a 98 camaro ls1... when I jump on it in all gears it feels like it cuts out around 5500 rpms and if I hold it there sometimes it will climb up to 6500... what could be causing it not to climb to 6500 without cutting out?

if it was a spark plug issue, it would misfire under a heavy load at lower RPM, 2000ish RPM. thats when the car is under the most load. once it gets up to 5000-6000 RPM its making the most power and moving the car most efficiently.
i think you have valve float issues. did you change the springs when you changed the cam?

no its all stock and car is running fine now. changed plugs and wires and had to put extensions on both o2s. i had both sides plugged into the rear 2 plugs and not the front.

yes cam with stock springs..... and i changed the plugs and wires on it and also got extensions for both o2s. found out i had both plugged into the rear plugs. so i plug them into the fronts and the car runs fine if i give it gas. when i idle for a bit and start the go feels like its flooding until i give it gas for a bit then it just takes off. so idk if the guy who tuned it deleted the front o2s?
