Default Maybe LS6 Intake?

Hi, i was debating about another mod, maybe a LS6 intake, maybe FAST LS6 intake manifold or a stock LS6 intake manifold off a zo6 vette? Is it worth the swap out the stock LS1 manifold for the LS6 manifold? If you make the switch does one have to worry about throttle body switch? Thanks for the input.

Really it all depends on your setup. If you have a basic bolt on or light cam go with a LS6, but it you get into heavy mods got fast. There are a ton of threads on this so if you search you will find a more info but thats basically what you will find.

On a bolt on car the ls6 is good for about 6-8rwh. I like the fast 90/90 set ups mainly because of their looks but for the money the ls6 is probably the better deal.

Sold mine $325 shipped...You will pick up 6-10 as stated all above 4K..You Can reuse your TB with the LS6 but the FAST will require a 4 bolt 90mm or bigger...I have a 92mm with my FAST... Unless you later want to do H/C IMO a LS6 is plenty....

Yes, from what I've read they came on Cali cars but are hard to find. You could drill and tap a regular LS6 intake.

Yes the '01 and later LS1 intakes (a.k.a. LS6 intake) are worth adding. Good used ones usually go in the $300-350 range.
Search and do your homework how to swap the intakes if you go with one.

Yea they did sell them, thats why its so important to confirm the part numbers on intakes or know what your looking at. Because there are LS6 intakes with the EGR provision and im pretty sure there are also LS1 intakes without the EGR on the early C5 vettes
