Default Hail damage

So i was hit with a storm last night. The house and all three cars have been damaged by hail. All driveable and liveable. Since the car will get repainted from insurance and my WSQ hood is on its way, i hope to make a deal to get the whole car and hood painted of course ill pay out of pocket for what insurance does not cover. But a hood is a hood right? Maybe i can get it swapped and painted???

So sorry to hear that. These Spring storms are just nasty this year. I would hate to have to leave my cars outside.

Thank stinks! I'm so sorry to hear about the damage -- the storms last night were nasty!

As for what insurance covers, they'll likely cover the expense of re-painting the stock hood. If there's any additional costs associated with installing the new hood you would just have to cover the rest (unless you could get the guy at the paint shop to agree to do it for the price he puts on the estimate).

I think you can have the option of taking a check equivalent to what they would cover in damage and then put it to whatever you want. Sometimes ending up better off (hopefully in your case) hope it works out.

We had a few bouts of hail here in central VA and I was scared to death of little dents everywhere but she made it through unscathed. Granted they were small hail but you never know.
