Default Need advise

Ok, I just bought a 2006 GTO, and want to do some mods to the engine. I'd like to do heads, cam, intake, rockers, pushrods, headers (Kooks) and exhaust.
Now this is an all stock car and want to get the best bang for the buck out of what I have without doing the whole bottom end.
With all of your experience that you guys have with the LS2 engine, what would you suggest? This is my daily driver so be gentle, Ha ha!

Thanks in advance, since I'm more frustrated after searching for ideas.

It's an M6, I don't want 800HP just something around 5-600 if possible. Not sure if I should go with rectangular heads or not.

youll need a nice H/C setup with a FAST and a dynojet to get 500.

on a mustang dyno itll be very hard from what ive seen but dyno numbers arent everything.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I think a FAST 92 would be best vs. the 102. I think the 102 is too big to get air speed.

Is your car a DD? If it is, how does it run in town?

What all have you done to your car? Also, what kind of mileage are you getting?
I'm doing a job for a guy now, hopefully when I get paid I'll have enough to get some stuff.

that's not bad. I can live with mileage in the teens. If it was in the single digits, then I might have a problem driving it daily.

Yeah, I'm not changing gears, just want a little bit more power RRRRRR! Just wondering if I should go with ported cathederal heads or rectangular heads?

Get a Magnuson TVS. You will get the horsepower, good gas mileage and drives like stock unless you get on it.
