Default Rasp exhaust!!!!! ANY HELP

Hey guys, I have an 02 ws6 and was wanting some insight on how to make the stock exhaust louder and raspy when reved, i tend to lovethe raspy sound of ls1's. What should I go with, like no muffler and leave it like that or no muffler and take out one cat(or both) not very sure so any help would be great. This is just until I get money for a full exhaust. Thanks
Here is what im talking about when i say rasp thanks and god bless

Remove cats, install ORY, and remove muffler or get a cutout. That will be very loud with lots of rasp.

I think op would like the lm resonator. Ive never heard anything nearly as loud/rap/raspy at 21-2300 rpms expect for an open y pipe

Because most of us "people" have an ear for what sounds good and what sounds like, well...what you're going for.

Its all about personal opinion. Some people like the smooth sound of magnaflow, others like the loud, raw sound of the loudmouths.

I think it sounds sick and nasty too, but I'm old so those words mean unpleasant things to me.

There is good rasp, and there is bad rasp. Good rasp is the sound you hear with headers, no cats, and true duals. Bad rasp is the kazoo-on-crack sound that you hear with no cats, a Y-pipe, and no muffler/resonators.

Just listen to this, sounds very loud and raspy, I've heard this setup in person too and it was just ungodly noisy. Really no tone whatsoever, just a lot of noise.

This is the correct formula. Or if you want to spend more money, do a GMMG instead of the LM1. Guaranteed to sound godawful.

1 3/4 dual straight pipes out the back. No cats, no cross over, no muffler. All the hillbilly farm truck you can handle

ha I don't want it to sound like a farm truck, the video above of the camaro is what i'm looking for. So when the cam goes in it will sound loud. I know that being loud is considered dumb and too much but I am still young(20) and like to hear the car while I drive. Thanks for all the advice from everyone and have a blessed day.

True duals with mufflers sounds much better than what's in that video. Or even if you add some bullet mufflers to the Y-pipe it would sound much better and still be loud.

You want rasp? Haha never heard someone want rasp. As someone said above, a loudmouth exhaust with LT headers and an ORY is exactly what you are looking for! I don't know how you could like that but hey... whatever you like!

^LOL..never tried gmmg nor listened to it in person but i think its a better option than LM1 since you can get it to sound nicer with a bullet. LM1 is nothing but a pipe which isnt worth the money imho. ive never heard anyone who wants that amount of rasp intentionally unless its your first fbody and you're just too excited

you know what the shitty part is?

the setup actually sounds very good....in the video.

in person, it sounds different. by different I mean terrible. like your empazhemic grandpa hacking up a lung after his first lucky strike of the day.

Haha....yeah I agree. What's in that video isn't bad by itself if you're not familiar with what it sounds like in reality, but to those of us that have heard this setup in person before, we know how bad it actually sounds.

Kazoo on crack is the best way to describe LM1 + ORY + LTs. It's not bad because it's loud, it's bad because no car should ever sound like a kazoo.

I have lt,ory, and 3" cutout on the i-pipe. After 2k rpm it sounds awesome but down low it sounds like your muffler fell off.
