ls1 crate motors how much?? need quick help

how much.for a ls1 crate anyone do one lately? just a good estimate doesnt have to be exact just need a quick estimate for a car im looking at with a rod through the side of block

thanks about what i was thinking, thinking about 5k. installed cars a cherry.ws6 with vette wheels 75k and a rod threw the motor gonna c what i can get it for

You could always pick up a cheap 4.8 or 5.3 to just get it running and then work on building a better engine in the mean time.

The LS1 crate motor has been discontinued by GM and is no longer available. Closest replacement would be a LS2 Long Block for $5883.00 + Freight. You can also pick up a LS3 crate motor for $6900 + Freight.

Flip through the 2013 catalog and let me know if you see a LS1 Crate Motor in there. We are a GM/CP Dealer and I can GUARANTEE you they are no longer available.
