Question How to make a Dash Pad stronger thread

I know I read a thread about how you can make a dash pad stronger and less likely to crack and break, but now I can't find it. It had some step by step pic on how to do the mod.

Does anyone have the link?

Thanks!

Weird i never heard of a dash pad breaking - unless removed wrong. Cracking is usually from the sun. Maybe try some plastic conditioner.

haha. I'll take your word for it. When OP said 'break i pictured a chunk falling off or something. They do 'crack all the time.

I have an uncracked dash. Use a large sunshade whenever you park outside. Buy a "UV resistant" plastic conditioner, Meguiers makes one. Gives it a nice clean, matte look. Not shiny like armor all. Apply every once in awhile.

Don't touch the damn thing. Park in the shade whenever possible. Crack a window so heat doesn't build up inside.

Pray.
