Default Tune question

Hey guys, just got an 02 z28 bone stock, and plan on installing a cat back exhaust and cold air intake only. Was wondering if I will need a tune when just doing these 2 mods?

M6 or A4? Not necessary but if you have the $, a good tuner can help wake that stock tune up.

No need for a tune with such simple bolt-ons, but if you never plan to do any further modifications then getting a tune (even for a totally stock car) can bring a small increase in performance. It's just not worth it right now if you plan to do anything more serious in the foreseeable future (which would then require a retune anyway).

M6 - T56, six speed manual transmission.
A4 - 4L60E , four speed automatic transmission.

The reason the question is asked is that the tunes in the PCM/ECM/COMPUTER are distinct for each transmission type.
