Default Is advanced Induction still in business?

Good morning all. I am wondering if Advanced Induction is still in business or if I am just completely out of luck. I shipped a set of heads to them in June of 2020. I received one response in October after numerous attempts to contact the owner, I was trying to get an invoice to go ahead and pay for the services that I had requested. Now it is October 2021 and after countless attempts to further contact the business through text, email, and voicemail I have nothing. At this point I am out of about $400 in head cores and shipping. Am I doing something wrong here? Anyone have experience with this company? I just fell like a year and a half is a little excessive. Thanks guys

I would try contacting one of the shops AI supplies cylinder heads to and ask. Usually when a small cylinder head shop like AI is pressed to produce products they have to take care of the Biggest Customers first. So a Big Customer will probably have a better read on what's really going on with Advanced Induction.

For AI's website.I'd probably try asking PCM of NC first since they are locking roughly the same region of North Carolina.

I hope you get your new cylinder heads soon, best wishes with the frustrating process.

As far as we know they are still in business. How ever all forms of communication seem to have stopped. If they are not actively working on your stuff they will not contact or respond to you. Your stuff will sit there... The last I spoke to some one listed as a Vendor on AI website, They had removed AI product's from their own website Due to not being able to get product in a timely fashion from AI...

Its really a shame as I had a project that I thought would be a perfect match for a set of there heads.

I've known AI/Phil for over 10 years, not sure what is going on past 24 months but I'm having the same issue. Always had a good relationship with him but I'm in the same boat as you guys, been over a year and haven't heard from him in almost 2 months now. Going to go another route most likely but I already sent him 4k earlier this year and can't even make contact now. FYI I am the owner of Black Label Tuning, LLC. mentioned above, as of today I've made the decision to no longer offer his heads unless something drastic changes. I have a lot of customers in need of head porting this winter and I just cant take the chance of what's happening right now with a customers product.

Seems like I have been hearing about AI issues as described above for years now.
They may put out a great product, but their customer service is absolutely horrible.

I think our last pair took almost a year, albeit the customer wasn't in a huge rush, thank fully. After 6-8 months though, they start getting a little nervous. Quality still looked spot on. They performed.

And people complain about head porting taking slightly longer than a week, LOL.

Shame he has a good business model and he is wasting it away by poor management. I bought a set a long time ago, but I wouldn't chance it now a days.
