Default Tpis??

Anyone have a legit contact for TPIS? I emailed the day I shipped them my intake (June 8) and they said 2 week turn around time. I have yet to hear a word from them to this day ....I followed up twice after shipping. It's July 27

No idea with email contacts.

Maybe try a phone call if you haven't already, probably a few minutes after opening time.

I called half an hour after TPIS's opening time and TPIS answered. I asked my question and Myron Cottrell (owner) answered it. Conversation was professional - brief, direct and to the point.

I'll try that because I've called a few times in the early afternoon and don't get an answer and the mailbox is full.

Thought I'd follow up. Just got the intake at the end of last week. So much for the 2 week lead time... lol. Better late than never I guess.

Glad the 90mm snout LS6 arrived.

Could you post a few pictures please?

Just curious if anything has changed in how TPIS does the 90mm snout mod over the years.

Thanks

Looks exactly the same as the 2nd one I got in ~2017.

The first one I got in 2015 was slightly different.

I'm not sure how to attach the throttle/cruise cable bracket to this. Ideas?

Let me guess the snout angle is slightly off and the TB cable doesn't line up exactly?

My 2nd pet 90mm LS6 intake required a little tweaking to get properly set up. The throttle cable bracket was slightly off on my 2nd intake. Norris MotorSports trimmed the throttle cable bracket slightly.

Picture from Norris MotorSports showing alignment issue.

Bracket was trimmed slightly based on what the shop said.

Sorry, I can't recall any more install was a couple of years ago.

Thank you.

No, that's not what I'm saying. I have no holes to mount the bracket to. Look up at my picture.

It looks like maybe you drilled some?

Please do. It appears you or someone else drilled holes and used bolts with nuts on the other end.

91 RS w/TPIS 90mm LS6 (2015) two cables attached to TB.

Details

More details

Cables route down side of intake then along firewall.

The 02 Z28 w/LPE-TPIS 90mm LS6 (2017) has one cable attached to TB as shown

02 Z28 (one cable)

Will take more pictures if that doesn't show right details etc.

Here on the back passenger side is a bracket designed to hold the cables up. I ended up finding out that the bracket needs to face forward and hold both the cruise and throttle. It seems to me most people dont bother.
