Default Good gas mileage

I just ran out my first tank of gas in my 98 Z28 M6 and got 278 miles on a full tank of premium gas. This was a mix of 40% city and 60% highway. I feel very good about this.

I have been able to get 400+ miles out of a tank...of course that was a trip from Illinois to Minnesota and I got just under 33 mpg on that tank. With 70% city and 30% highway I ussually get about 18-21mpg so roughly 260-300 miles per fill up.

I get around 25-26mpg to a tank... in a mix of city and highway 11 gallons(i usualyl fill up at the 1/4 left mark) normally gets me 270-280 miles.

I just drive ~700 miles yesterday. All highway, got about 27mpg. Not too shabby for a 400rwhp full-weight car cruising @ 80mph .

You guys all suck! I just put 11.5 gallons in my car and had only put 170 miles on that tank. Cam + big stall + heavy foot = $$$ Used to get around 19-22 when stock though.

I used to get 18-20mpg with 80+% highway and 20% city. But now with age and the new fuel with 10% ethanol, I get 12.5-14.5mpg with 80% city and 20% highway.

I normally get 19-21.

I drive like an old man.

Fast cars you drive slow everyone knows it's fast. You want them to see you in it.

my feelings on driving her.

Looks like pretty good numbers for most of you guys... I am new to a stick performance car had a S10 stick b4 and there is a difference... I will get the hang of it in no time though... I am going to drive it from St.Louis to Atlanta after I change all the fluids and get new belts and hoses.

What did you switch out the 3.42's and put in 2.73's?
