How many have you received, and how has it affected your car insurance?
I have received 2, for my first I went to traffic school, and my insurance is not aware of the second one yet.

Speeding Tickets
I've had one *knocks wood*
I went to court to fight it, cop didn't show up, ticket was dismissed
I try my best to obey the limit on city streets, but when I get on the highway I just let it roll

It sucks because the court said I could attend traffic school, but DMV won't take my second ticket off me record b/c it has not been 18 moths since my 1st speeding ticket, so I guess I am screwed for 5 years on insurance when they find out

If you are talking about life time since I have been driving, I would say that I probably paid for the City of Houston's police ball at the end of the year and never got invited one time. Roughly I would say about 30 give or take a few. Since having kids and stuff like that I naturally like any logical father would do is slow down.........to an extent . If you count for the last three years I guess my poll pick would be Zilch.
You guys have a blinker for a reason..........use it for christ's sake! Change lanes, right hand turn, left hand turn JUST USE IT! please...

One. 41 in a 35. The ticket was deferred and if I went 6 months without getting another ticket it would get dismissed...which it did. Insurance never found out about it either.
Traffic school was pretty lame. 95% of it was about driving under the influence.

1 speeding ticket (late at night, 600 mile trip)
1 failure to come to a complete stop (4 way stop, podunk town, top of a hill, cop got 4 people while I watched before I pulled off and left. *******, talked to the mayor and he took it off my record but I still payed the fine).

I've had 29 tickets in my lifetime. I lived in one state and worked across the state line in another (where points didn't transfer), so I kept paying the fines and never had any problems. A few were for other than speeding, but most were for speeding. My insurance company knows about them and didn't raise my rates. I asked my agent about it once, and they spun the monitor around and started reading off my list of infractions (speeding, 41 mph over, speed greater than reasonable, improper passing, will and wantful disregard of the law, etc...."shall I go on"? "nah, that's enough").
I had a ticket a few weeks ago, my first in 3 years. I used to get one every 6 months, if I needed it or not. And, I often got more than one at a time.
By the way, in MD, 96 in a 55 will cost you $505. Just so you know......

NONE. I have been pulled over a few times but they either really like the car or tell me to never come back to their town. (CH) Most cops are cool about it though since I am a chick; either that or I purposely divert myself onto the nearest back road.

Talked my way out of the 3rd one. I've done plenty of speeding and accelerating by cops... once, over 100 in a 55 on a country road. THAT was scary! Not the speed, but the fact that I'd been caught. But as luck would have it, I didn't get yanked.
