I am contemplating selling my car and moving on into something faster(03/04 Cobra or C5
)... I am at the point where it is beginning to bore me and I just want to try something new...but I really do not know what to ask for it if it does sell...
My mods : The car is a 1999 SS Camaro with the following... Pacesetter Longtubes, ORY , SLP Catback , SLP Airlid, Pro 5.0 shifter, Spec Stage 2 Clutch, 4.10 Motive Gears(no whine). The car also has been dynotuned and put down 345 RWPH and 355 FT/LBS...62,000 miles...
I am in Socal ...I see SS Camaro's sell for easily 15K with more miles than mine... but idk...
Any ideas?

its only worth what someone is willing to pay. You have two things against you..the season(although in so cal i'm sure its a lot nicer through the winter months) and that fbodies don't hold thier value. I bought my 01 ss 2 years ago with 50k on it for 15k. Thats in a different area though. If that car was around here, i'd pay 11-12k.

$15k? Nuts. I'd say closer to $12-13k for the non-enthusiast public. Very low miles relative to the year. At least those mods will be transparent to most people, except for your dumped Y of course.
Definitely set the high dollar price at $15 though, if what you've seen is accurate.

Yea, I would rather keep it if that was the case. Remember, this is in Socal...I saw a 1998 SS Camaro with 88,000 in worse condition than mine...selling for 13 K ...Market is ridiculous...Would I be better off putting it back to stock if I wanted to sell? I did keep all my parts...
