Default new toy (maybe)

i was online looking for a sub $6.5k camaro as a daily driver, when my phone rings. it's my bro, who just happens to be the sales manager at a local dealership. he says that someone just traded in a white '94 z28 hardtop a4, and that i can go buy it for $3900, it comes to $4507 after tax, title and all the other b.s. car is all stock (far as i can tell) except for a k&n filter. only has 76k miles on it. drives strong and body looks good, but i am convinced that it has hit. (so is my bro, he kinda got into a little argument with the people that traded it in) i think that i am going to pick it up on monday morning, what d'yall think??

Id personally would not mess with it, just because its an LT1. I thaught they were ok until I owned one.

Ive been LSx ever since, still the best, even for DD duties. You should be able to find one for $6500, if you look around a little bit. It might be higher mileage, but it will be ok for the daily commute. Most of the higher mileage LS1's are gonna be highway miles anyway. Just my .02

That's not that bad. If you could bring the price down more, the better. I owned a LT1.....the only thing that sucks about them is the opti distrubutor. Those things are a pain in the ***, eitherwise, they're alright. Of course use you're common sense when buying the car, if it sounds like **** then pass on it.

hey supersam- you live in weslaco?? i grew up in mission. how is the rio grande valley these days, its been about 6 years since i've been back. also, how do you like that gsx r 6? my best friend just totalled my '06 cbr 600rr and so he bought it and i put a deposit down on the first '07, but i like the look of the new suzukis. anyway, i guess that is topic for a different forum, so about this '94, i know that my bro wouldn't make any money off of me, and i am getting it alot cheaper than anyone else would. drives well, looks good. i found the old spark plug wires in the trunk, so i am assuming they were recently changed, but is there anything that is typically troublesome that i should change right away?

Ive got a '94 LT1/6 speed with 133k miles that I dd everyday and run hard at least once daily. Good whip, when I first got it I upgraded the coil/wires and added some 1.6 roller rockers and springs. Serviced it and it runs like a top, but it just failed Atlanta emissions though, running rich.

Then I've also got an '02... a whole different animal.
