I just want to let you know that this is one of the greatest websites that has ever happened. Im 16 years old and am a junior in high school and own a 99 trans am. And no my parents didnt pay for it. My friend intrduced me to body work but ive always had a thing for wanting to know about engines but had absolutely no idea how to get started. Because of this website I have had to post very few times in the course of when I joined because of all you guys(and girls). Because of this website I decided to start college early and am taking automotive classes at the local college next semester. I sepnd at least 2 hours on here everday. This site and all of its members has taught me so much and got me so involved in my car. Overall I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for making such a great site with ALOT of help. Thanks again to every single one of you.

If it werent for this site I dont think I would be as heavily interested in F bodies as i am now. Thanks guys!

I'm old school. I drag raced in the '70's and worked on my cars, then got married in the '80's and quit working on muscle cars. They put computers in cars and I was afraid to do anything to a car. When my son got his drivers license, I got the bug for a muscle car, hence the '00 T/A. With the information and help I found here, it gave me the confidence to do my own work on the cars again. I got new tools, jacks, ramps and supplies. I do my own brake and engine mods, repairs, lube all the rides and body work. The best part, my son helps me because he want to learn and he's a gearhead. I let him drive the T/A now and then. I spend 1-2 hours a day here too. Thanks Guys!

Very true.
And this site did save me from the import scene....I test drove the eclipse I wanted went to the bank got the money and then for some reason I decided to look at an autotrader from like 3 months ago that night and came across my t/a I knew the chances were slim that he still had it but I placed a phone call and picked it up like 3 days later. Everyone in my school has imports and they ripped on me for weeks until I showed them its actually possible to do a burnout with out dropping the clutch or braketorquing, they still said there car was faster, I raced each and every one of them and put them in there place. Now they defend me and tell everyone else to shut there mouth before its too late because he (I) has an ls1. Ive actually gotten a couple of them to switch over too muscle cars too. Thanks again.
