Default Ws6 Price... is this too much?

Well I am going to buy a WS6 tomorrow or the day after and am wondering if I am paying too much (going by kbb)..

1999 WS6 M6
Black with Charcoal leather
150 shot NX wet
AEM UEGO Wideband
Nitrous Pressure Gauge
Fuel Pressure Gauge
SLP headers
SLP lid
ls6 airbox
3" custom exhaust
Short Shifter
and misc. extras
Black Z06 Wheels

I went to see the car and its in great shape, especially the interior... It also has 52k miles. The price I am purchasing it for is 14k, probably could get him down to 13.5k. The only thing that worries me is the fact that it was sprayed, but judging by the gauges and wideband, I think he was at least consciensious about the spray. What do you guys think?

I think that is a pretty good price considering all the mods that are on it. You are right to be cautious with the spray though. Nobody puts all those mods on and granny shifts at 2000 RPMS all the way to the grocery store, ya know? But the mileage isn't that high, so you'd be in the ball park IMO. For $13,500 I would say that's a pretty good deal.

they have a tendency to hang real low and scrap. Most people recommend kooks or QTP's lt's if there gonna spend that kind of money. But since there on there already i wouldn't remove them unless it really annoys you or find a killer deal on some kooks or qtp's. Before u buy take a look under it and see if the y pipe hangs real low. I guess the general consensus is they are the worst fitting out of the more expensive lt's

To much money IMO. No real mods there to warrant the extra coin for a $9-10k car. SLP LT's hang to low and scrape. I wouldnt pay anymore than 10k for that car and only if the interior was immaculate. You can find a 99 a lot cheaper. Dont buy a car thats been sprayed unless it has a forged botton end setup for it.

I'm looking at an 01 WS6, dark blue, clean inside and out.

Stock motor, 50k miles, M6, tinted windows and drop(not sure how far just yet).

14k OBO

What do you guys think?
I'm really digging the stock motor and the low milage. Itsalso the first LS equipt F-body I've seen in my area.

Any advice would be nice. Thanks!

I dont think the price is too much. I would be cautious of buying a car that has been sprayed. But it sounds good to me.

Not a bad price for an 01 w/50k. Try and get it for 12k.

I found mine for 4 grand 2 years ago. The posi was shot and there was a check engine light on- turned out to be the cats. Guy just wanted to get rid of it because the dealership tolf him the tranny and engine are about ready to blow up.

I think I got the best deal on the boards.

That seems like a decent price to me...but +1 on the spray. Man, people out by me are nuts! I was trying to find my friend a nice WS6, but some of these people are dreaming. There is a dealership that wants 31k$ for one!!!

Friend got a 98 SS M6 with 64K miles on it for $6500. Nothing wrong with her at all.
