Default Getting water under rear seat

Was in my car today and reached back to grab some paper and found it was wet. So touched the seat it was dry then reached under the seat and there is a ******* puddle of water. Its under both rear seats, it had rain recently but not sure how the hell its getting under the seat. Anybody have this happen to and if so what is causing it ?

The best way to find the leak is to grab a buddy and a garden hose. Have your buddy spray water on the car in sections with you in it checking for leaks.

were you parked with your nose down hill when it rained? there was a thread not too long ago with the same problem and that was what they came up with. the rain filled up the drain "troughs" in the hatch and it ran into the car.

have you taken the seat belt's out of the backseat befor (the female end of the seat belt)? there is a bolt that fastens that to the car and that bolt goes through the metal and is touchable from the under the car. just make sure those bolts are still covered in the grey sealant they came from the factory with.

Thanks for the help, as weird as the down hill thing sounds think that might have something to do with it. When the weather gets better I will try spraying the hose and checking the seatbelt bolts.

brothers car has same issue, but even when not driven, and it builds up to a puddle. cant find a spot that is leaking either (t-tops) because no water drain marks on the inside
