fun little car, doesn't feel much slower than my ss and I love the supercharger whine.
Don't buy my old car...it was beat to ****(although taking care of )
the dealer gave me 10 grand ona trade in with bad front end damage and a non working horn and the car has 95k on it.

I hammered them pretty good, walked out twice, then got the car. The cobalt cost me 16 and it has 10k miles on it. Fully loaded besides the lsd. After I get used to the speed(can't get on it at all in first, just wheel spin) I may do the gm stage 2, smaller pulley, injectors and a tune. I'll probably end up doing it in a few weeks after i get a clear anwser if it effects the warranty or not.

I personally woulda gotten an 04' SRT4, caughed up the $3500 I saved over the newer Cobalt, and put a MOPAR stage 3 kit w/toys on it and been faster than everyone posting in this thread so far.
Insurance would be pretty easy on you (same as Cobalt or less) and still 30ish mpg.

Thats a good idea
But a stage 3 w/toys is definately not getting 30 mpg. Those SRT-4's dont get very good gas mileage from my experience with them.
