Default Seafoam in oil=screwy idle?

well, i did the seafoam in the oil before i changed to oil, i added the seafoam, started it up, and did some driving, while i was in my driveway i knowticed that it made the idle go up and down about 200 rpms constantly. after i changed the oil it stopped doing this. what could cause this? possible oil getting past something causing the seafoam to get into the combustion chamber? help please!

How long did you leave it in the oil? I know it says not to leave it in their too long, did you add it to the intake too? When I did that it screwed with my idle a little b/c it created a vacum leak

you are only supposed to leave the seafoam in the oil for like 5 miles, but I don't know if that causes the screwy idle. Since it's fixed don't worry about it. I've had screwy things happen to my car and then the next day it fixes itself, just the ls1 i guess

Actually it's 100-200 miles. I stick closer to the 100 mile end of it.
