i had just got on the highway from work and headed home. i was doing about 65 on the on-ramp which is a 2 lane slight turn. some jackass in a civic with a fart can flies up and jumps in my lane almost hitting me. i had to slam the brakes to avoid hitting him, started to spin, overcorrected 3 times and spun out about 10 feet in front of a van. i ended up with my left rear bumper sitting on the guardrail, with that tire about a foot in the air, and my exhaust pushed under my axle. one must keep in mind i had just replaced my low, low **** spring replaced with shocks and non-existant brakes completely replaced two days ago, so i had know idea how the car would handle. the guy in the civic never stopped, but the van did, and two other people stopped after they called the police and before they arrived. fortunately, the damage isnt toooo bad, but i do have a $1500 credit card debt from the work performed and no money currently in the bank. i am 18, just got the car road-worthy saturday, and only work part-time. i cant afford this here is the damage.


the bumper was dented but i dont think it is broken. i am currently accepting donations to my paypal account

basterds, that happened to me not too long ago, but i hit a pole and the guy took off and they totaled my car, good luck with the fix, did they find it to be your falt?

at least there where witnesses, i had none so i got 4 points on my licence. hope everything turns out all right for you, good luck man.

Damn bro.. sorry to hear that.
I got hit-n-run by an old Lincoln a 2 years ago, I got hit in the back right, put into a spin, pulled it out of the spin, and straight along the side of a Telephone Pole. Luckily it was in the same spot the Lincoln hit me, so I only had to replace the Quarter Panel.
Hopefully the Cops will hook you up, expecially if you have witnesses. I had a couple, they all said the same thing I did, and they made a hit-n-run report. Never found the guy though..hopefully you find yours.

yeah, the people in the van did, but they were the only ones who saw it.
