How to prevent wheel hop?
Well tonight I was running another camaro from a 30mph roll and first gear.
When I got on my car the wheel hop instantly began, as I let off the gas and shifted to second there was spinning and the car slid sideways a little and then straightened out. How can I prevent this wheel hop? Any ideas?
No suspension mods except for replacement rear shocks which have 30k miles and they are the oem shocks. Tire is a 275/40/18 yokohama and car is an lt1 with heads and cam full exhaust. Please help

There are a few things that you can do. Using the search feature would be the first thing. Followed by LCA's (Lower Control Arms) and a torque arm. A new panhard bar would also be a good investment while you're back there, though it won't really help your wheelhop at all. But it does keep your rear nice and tight in the turns.

Subframe connections, Torque Arm, lower control arms, and panhard bar . All that solved my problems like a charm!
About $1,000 in parts plus $300 in labor installation and voila! no more wheel hop!

Dead shock(s), bad/worn LCA bushings, or lowering the car without the use of relocation brackets for the LCAs are the most common reasons for wheel hop.

Exactly as stated above. There's many parts that will help and make your car launch like a bat out of hell. Lower Control Arms, Adjustable Torque Arm, Adjustable Panhard Bar, Monotube Drag Shocks with good Coil Springs, and High Performance Tires. Match all these together (CORRECTLY) and you'll have a monster suspension for launching.

lca's, panhard, torque arm, and probably new bushings and shocks check out bmr i think they have a package deal on that actualy set of stuff. pretty simple to install if u have a day out of ur weekend free. also look into sfc helps make the car more rigid.

Question.... If i have my car lowered (eibach pro-kit) and i lift the rear with stock V6 springs, will i be able to use my non-adjustable PHB and LCA's?
I plan on goin w/ adjustables later just don't have the dough now. I'll start w/ T.Arm, SFC's and then get Adj. LCA's/PHB.
