To get the car professionally tuned is like $380. Does it yield any gains or does it just make the car run better? I know back in the day people could just throw a new chip in the car and see 30 HP gains, is it like this with a tune for the LS1?
I have an SS in sig and want to get some improvements while still retaining a stock car. What would be good? Maybe an SLP Lid and a Tune? and will the tune be worth the $$?

As far as keeping it for collectors sake. Probably not going to happen IMO, unless you keep it original and garaged for the next 40 years. Its just another loaded out SS, nothing rare about it.

it's not really a good way to spend the money until you have a cam and/or more mods.
but once you get a cam... you WILL absolutely need it, unless you run a really small cam and you don't mind not running 100% maximized.

alright thanks guys, i do plan on keeping it for a long time.... and right now after spending more than expected on the car i don't have much money for a bunch of bolt on's.
probably after this month i'll be able to mod IF I want to.
