I just bought a red 98 TA with 45,000 miles on it, one owner, Clean Title, bone stock, only things wrong is a hole in the passenger side leather seat and a small door ding with a couple scratches in it. Its an Auto and seems very solid. Paid 9,500 for it. So was this a good buy and good price?

45,000 miles is very low for a 98. My cars a 2002 and I have 46,000 miles on it.
As far as the hole in one of the seats you can always put seat covers on unless your a perfectionist like me
youll want to get the seat redone or patch it up.
As far as the ding goes you can always get that repaired at a later time.
As far as the scratches go, I always have a small thing of touch up paint that I got from the dealership for the scratches.
Id say it was a decent deal.

Very nice price man, I wish I could have found my car for that cheap. 98 SS, with 47,000 miles, and PERFECT. I paid 12k. But Fbodys are selling for more $$$ down here though than other places I have looked.

Kelly Blue Book said the car was worth around 9,500, so i know i got a fair deal on it. It seems like all the F-Body's i see for sale are a large chunck over KBB pricing, or at least most of them are. I am guessing it is because they no longer make them and are getting harder to find?

Deal went through with the $9500 TA, issues with the title the day i went to pick it up, so i didn't end up getting it. Tomorrow i am going to purchase a 00 WS6 Ta 55,000 miles, loaded, great shape, stock for most part, 6 speed, im giving them 15K. Good deal or not, i didn't think it was too bad.
