Overall, based on experience and just in general, do fbodies last long and hold together well? Thinking about trading in my 03 gtp for a 00' trans am with 30k miles on it. what do you all think

GO FOR IT. 30 k miles for a 2000, that is a nice find. These cars last long and hold up well as long as you take care of them. Its a car, so there will be wear and tear, but these cars were made for driving a little harder than the average car. Besides for the cheaper interrior that rattles the only other really big flaws are the window motors, the rear ends, and thats about it. Man I hope you get it. Post some pics and details up about the car you found so we can possibally help you more. Welcome to the bad *** side of cars man. Now go buy that car. By the way what color, manual or auto, is it modded at all.

It will be worth it. I thought about selling my car but I can't because there really isn't a good reason too. It doesn't have problems. It has never given me any problems. Treat it good and it will treat you good. You will really enjoy it.

They're all junk...
They're making cars cheaper and cheaper now adays (Except maybe Subarus...WRXs are built like f**kin' tanks!) Otherwise...
OEM tranny blew out at 82,000...but hey, thats not GM's fault, they didn't build the tranny!
Injector stuck open, flooding the cylinder...no biggie, caught it in time!
So, go for it, guy! Get that car!
