Default throttle body spacer

hey guys, i know these things dont help out anything, but my question is that if u put one on can it actually hurt performance? I was thinkin of gettin one just for the sound.

I don't think it will help or hurt you but if you want alittle extra intake noise get a FAST intake.

Sound of what? If you want sound then go Procharger or Turbo. That will give you plenty of sound to play with.

couple of the spacers i've seen....caused a whistling noise under hard throttle.


there is no way that a spacer on a setup like the LSx would make any difference.

they have shown improvements on carb and TBI setups...that's it

i disagree with you on that one... I added a nitrous plate (basically a spacer) and picked up 5rwhp from the last time I was on the dyno.

I didnt know if it would actually hurt performance or not. I dont believe i have the money right now for the forced induction route. lol It will be in the future though. I know that most spacers whistle, i had one on my truck and it whistled pretty good.
