Default Prepare to cry, one of the worst wrecks I've seen (large pictures)

I kinda posted this already but I wanted to make an actual thread to show how bad this is

My brother was driving my car this past saturday down a country road when, what do you know it, a deer runs out into the road. Well, instead of hitting the deer head on he tries to dodge it. He missed the deer, but what he didn't miss was the forest on the other side of the road.

These pictures show what happend when a car is ran into a bunch of trees at 55 mph. I don't really see how he's still alive, he actually walked away from the wreck. If anyone would have been in the car, they would have been instantly killed.

another reason why we love pontiacs, and f-bodies. this formula protected her driver when he needed it most. most people think to avoid hitting a deer, but at least the animal has some give when you hit it. a 90yo oak doesnt.

Sorry about your car bro, but yeah, I must say, these cars are built like tanks.... I, for one, walked away from a pretty nasty (though not nearly as bad as yorus) wreck in my 99 z28.

Hell, it would have been better to hit the deer. I hit one doing 40, all it did was put two dents in the hood and dented the headlight cover. I would have hit him doing 65, if I didn't hit the brakes. Tossed the ****** 15 feet over into a ditch, got up looked around for a second and ran away.

Glad I have good brakes, I chose not to swerve last night, and luckily the squealing tires persuaded the two deer to split in the correct directions. I was probably down to 10 mph before I woulda hit them. Always choose the deer over the ditch. I've seen many friends who haven't. Good luck with the car.

Looks like a good thing it wasnt a T-top car.
Sorry about your loss... I wrecked my GTP a year ago and I still miss that car. I have owned two LS1s since. A friend of mine bought a GTO M6. It was like sitting in my GTP with the performance of my 99 Formula. GTOs do feel a little on the heavy side but is a more solid feeling car. Good luck with your GTO hunt.

A valuable lesson learned... If I come across a similar situation, Bambi is going down.

Damn.

Let this be a lesson to you. Don't let other people drive your car.

Ouch...

Glad the passenger side got smacked not the driver side or your bro wouldn't be here!

Pull the engine and hood, they look fine!
