Default Z28 vs SS main differences?

hey guys, i know the ss has a little more power, and some different cosmetic stuff, but what else is different about it from a z28? what are the different engine components that give the additional power? thanks for answering a noob's questions

they realy didnt make any more power its just a joke all LS1 f-bodys were under rated from the factory. the only thing that might give it more power is that some have an slp catback witch is useless just ge a cut out. maybe the suspension is alil different i guess it depends on what slp options it has..

IMO if you are going to do the SS cosmetic upgrades, it might be to your advantage to just go ahead and find an SS. to get a good fitting hood, and functional ram air system... the price increase might be about the same either way

thanks for the heads up. ive got a limited budget, so i dont think finding an ss is really realistic, but if i can find one, ill jump on it. if not, even just the spoiler would be a nice touch

The "functional" ram air doesnt really do anything unless you seal it off and even then it doesnt do anything unless your doin 100+ MPH. And the SS hoods are harder to seal then the WS6 hoods from what ive read so your best bet is reguardless of if you have a SS or Z28 just slap a lid on it and be done with it.

i know, but as a majority most that buy an ss hood or ws6 hood would also like to have a functional ram air system. myself personally, i wouldnt waste the money. thats why i recommended a cowl hood...
