Default WRECKED CAMARO!!! Step into my life!

Ok, heres the deal i took insurance off my car when i burned the stock clutch, because i found a better rate some where else! So i thought ide be smart and take it off for a month and save some money while it was down! Anyways after it got back togther, i was on a couple of shake down runs, and i got on it hard on the interstate passed a few cars then started to slow up on the cars in front of me, my girlfreind got scared and pulled the e-brake, which is convently on the passenger side! Long story short, i wrecked, nobody hurt but the Z! $4500, is what i was quoted at the body shop, no insurance, so its gonna have to come out of my pocket! I want ot get rid of it, and i owe $7600 on it, my body shop offered to buy it from me for $4500. My question is should i have it fixed and sell it for no profit, or just sell it to the body shop, and take a loss????? I am open to any ideas anyone has, just wonderinfg what you would do?????

WTF was she thinking????

Her dumb *** needs to be footing that bill. That will teach her to rethink any further stupid stunts like that.

Kick the gf to the curb, and sell the car to the body shop and cut your losses.

If you fix it, then you have to HOPE it sells....if the body shop has already made an offer, then it's sold.

Driving without insurance is stupid no matter what the reason. I'm sorry your car was damaged, but you should have known better. Thankfully, you didn't crash into another motorist.

I think some of you need to learn to watch ur mouths, I am still with the girl and i plan to be for a little longer! Remember your talkin to a real live person, not just a screen name, show a little Respect! Anyways if I sell it to the body shop im gonna be at a considerable loss with nothing to show for it! I think i just gonna dish out the cash, fix it and break even!

You should talk it with your girl to help you out on fixing the car since it was partly her fault.

Yeah, I'm sure he knows by now that taking the car out without insurance wasn't the brightest of ideas, however it pales in comparison to the idiotic move his GF made. Having insurance on the car wouldn't make them any less dead if she happened to yank the e-brake and send them flying into oncoming traffic. She needs a serious schooling, if she doesn't trust you, she shouldn't have gotten into the car with you. Her "help" just cost you some coin, and your lucky it didn't cost you or someone else more. Kick her *** to the curb before she kills you and/or others. Screwing around with controls while someone else is driving is not a joke and it's not justified no matter how "freaked out" she is, it's life and death serious. Damn, I can't even believe anyone would do that!

If you think that's harsh, just try being dead instead, now that's harsh.

Unwise/dumb move pulling the ebrake. Grab the "oh ****" handle, that's what it's there for.

2muchrice, the smiley in your sig is hilarious

why do i get the feeling NO lessons will be learned from this?, either YOU were driving a LOT worse than your letting on, or your GF is one f'ed up bitch....... plain and simple(who doesnt know what happens when you pull the e-brake at speed?), she would definately owe me AT LEAST half the repair if it was my car
