Help Me Make Decision! Keep My 00 WS6 or Trade it for a 99-02 ls1 Corvette?
What should I do, anyone with personal experience? I love my WS6 but I also have always loved the vette. What are the pros/cons? Below is a pic of my WS6.

No, I can't afford a z06. I have just heard way too much about how the weight and aerodynamics will allow a stock vette to easily keep up with a bolt on F-body. If both cars are modded the same, how much of a difference is there gonna be, say from a 20mph to135mph roll?

Having both in the family (00 ws6 and 00 c5) I like both but the only thing I would trade mine for is a Z06. There is somehing about being seen i a Vette that catches peoples eye for some reason :-) The Vette has comfort and is more of a "high class" car but the Ws6 to me just looks mean, but I say if its anything but a Z06 keep the T/a.

As far as the stock vette keeping up with a bolt on WS6, i have been told two completely opposite things, thats why I hope you guys can clear it up for me. Ive never lined up against a vette, so I have no clue how they compare. The only reason for doing the trade is performance, not looks!

If it's trading it in, then no. If you are serious, I'd say sell it then find the right corvette. Color and everything.

how many miles on your WS6? It looks really good, and in good shape. I wouldnt get rid of it for a C5 of any kind.

No way you could compare both cars if you are talking about quality unless you are talking performance. The Vette has a completely different feel. I sold my 2001 Camaro SS on this site 2 months ago. The reason I sold it was to get a Vette. I still have my 98 Trans Am which will be sold and a 00 Formula. If I could only afford one it would be the Vette. I found my baby in a heated garage and stole her for less than 18,000 with less than 75k on the clock

My WS6 has 65,000 miles on it. IM starting to lean towards keeping it and using the few bucks I have saved to start the mods.

Good idea, difference in money you could mod your ws6 very nicely. Id never get rid of my t/a for a c5 unless it was a z06.

My vote is to keep the WS6 and start modding it, unless you find a smoking deal on a vette or its a Z06.

Depends what you use it for. My huge hockey bag fits perfectly in the back of my Camaro. The cargo area is also great for my 75 lb dog. Sounds goofy, but thats the main reason I would rather have it than a vette.

I would keep the WS6. Because Trans Ams arent made any more unlike the vette, so there less common to see on the streets. And EVERYONE drives a corvette. imo.
